We are delighted to announce the Call for Abstracts for the EuMINe COST Action First General Meeting, a pivotal event dedicated to fostering collaborative research and knowledge exchange within the European Materials Informatics Network. This meeting aims to unite a diverse community of researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry collaborators, all driven by the common objective of advancing materials informatics for the development of advanced materials. The primary objective of the First General Meeting is to lay the foundation for collaborative research and knowledge exchange. The event will encompass keynote lectures, poster presentations, and thematic discussions.
The meeting will feature in-depth discussions on the current progress within the EuMINe Working Groups, with a focus on:
- Materials Informatics and Data-Driven Technologies for Advanced Materials Development (Working Group 1)
- Collaborative Research Efforts and AI-Driven Methods in Materials Development (Working Group 2)
- Shared Methods and Policies for Materials Informatics Technologies (Working Group 3)
- Structuring and Management of Materials Data, including Metadata and Format Specifications (Working Group 4)
Specialized sessions will be organized for young researchers and innovators, offering targeted discussions on data and software sharing, best practices, and experiences.
As an integral part of this event, we are excited to host a dedicated Workshop on “Data-driven technologies, AI and digitalisation for advanced materials development”. This workshop will provide a platform to delve into the challenges and opportunities in the field of materials informatics and related technologies. Participants will explore current approaches and perspectives in the field, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the strategies, technologies, and approaches needed to propel meaningful advancements in materials informatics.
We invite submissions that address key research areas and challenges related to the EuMINe Working Groups and to digital technologies for advanced materials. You are invited to submit an abstract by using the online form on https://forms.gle/ENHJ4mGTvJoqwjeV6
