We are delighted to share some important updates and opportunities within the EuMINe COST Action. Please take note of the following events and calls for applications:
1. Training School in Belgrade, 2-4 September 2024: Introduction to Digital Tools and AI for Materials Informatics
We are organizing an introductory school targeted at PhD students and young investigators. The school will cover the following topics:
- Materials Informatics
- Data Management and Curation
- Machine Learning for Materials Science
- Deep Learning
- Predictive Modeling in Materials Science
- Digital Twins and High-Throughput Experiments
- Emerging Trends and Techniques

2. Symposium “Novel Developments in Materials Informatics” at the E-MRS Fall Meeting in Warsaw, 19 September 2024, and WG meeting, 20 September 2024
Join us for a special symposium within the E-MRS Fall Meeting. The symposium will focus on the latest developments in materials informatics. Additionally, on 20 September, there will be dedicated EuMINe WG1 and WG2 meetings. Travel, accommodation and subsistence will be fully funded by EuMINe for selected participants submitting abstracts before 30 July. 3. Grants for Participating in Conferences (Dissemination and ITC Grants)
We are pleased to announce that the call for dissemination and ITC grants is open. EuMINe will contribute up to €1500 for Dissemination Grants and €2000 for ITC Grants.
